Butte College will take part in Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving on Tuesday, Nov. 28, participating with thousands of colleges and nonprofits around the world.
For this year's campaign, which kicks off on Tuesday, Nov 7, the college has identified several fundraising goals that will directly impact student success. The Butte College foundations will match up to $10,000 of the funds raised.
“I’d like to invite our community and alumni to give back to our students this Giving Tuesday,” said Virginia Guleff, Butte College superintendent/president. “Their support on Giving Tuesday helps us provide opportunities for our students to excel in their education and move forward to serve our community.”
Tax-deductible donations can be made online at the Butte College Foundation to one of the following programs that benefit students or any other program or scholarship:
Nursing: Pyxis MedStations and Software, $150,000
